Job Position : IT Project Manager III
Job Location : Wayne, PA
Duration : 6+ Months
Description
The project manager will lead the IT work for a large facilities project in Exton, PA.
The candidate must have strong experience in delivering similar work.
Pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
Overall responsibilities for the project manager are as follows:
• Develop and maintain detailed project plan which identifies milestones and dependencies
• Develop and manage project scope, schedule, cost and quality in an ongoing basis
• Development of the project process and principles through the Project Charter
• Promote common understanding of project timelines, milestones and reporting in order to ensure stakeholder and project team member alignment
• Develop, maintain and monitor resource, communication and change management plans
• Coordination and scheduling of Client and vendor resources
• Manage and report project financials
• Lead identification, mitigation, resolution and reporting of project risks & issues, and work with relevant colleagues to identify solutions. Initiate escalation process when appropriate.
• Manage project change control for scope, schedule, cost and quality
• Lead project delivery in a collaborative, constructive manner
• Comply with Client structured project management methodologies, Project Management best practices and documentation practices.
• Contribute to deliverables as needed to ensure the overall successful delivery of the project
Experience Requirements:
• PMP certification or 6-10 years of Project Management experience
• Pharmaceutical experience desirable
• Experience with multiple PPM tools/solutions is a strong plus
• Must be familiar with the use of MS SharePoint
• Must be proficient with MS Project
• Must understand and have worked in an IT environment
• Must be able to work independently
• Must have demonstrated ability to resolve issues
• Must have demonstrated ability to provide transparent communication and status
Key Project Performance Indicators
• Finalized Project Roles and Responsibilities reflecting project team responsibilities and potential constraints
• Timely development of project plan
• Daily management and progression of risk & issue register
• Appropriate stakeholder management - as measured by customer feedback
• Adherence to the Client project delivery methodology framework
• Delivery of key project activities in line with agreed milestones
• Timely and seamless transition of projects to operations support organization(s)
• Ability to drive projects and resolve issues within the project team
Must have strong experience in Facilities IT project management, strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
