Job Description |
Job Title : Financial Analyst II
Job Type : contract ( 12 Months + )
Location : Lake Forest, IL
Primary responsibilities include:
Manage monthly close cycle and management reporting which includes key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer retain/lost ratio, device shipments & destructions, revenue & margin, NASP, budget tracking, etc.
Key liaison between US MMS Finance and Marketing, Customer Care, Contract Marketing, and DAP Finance
Review large volume of customer contracts, invoices & credits for accuracy and compliance per DAP
Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation to request credits from the Corporate reserve
Meet the requirements set by DAP Finance for reporting and forecasting
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement by introducing new analytical tools and metrics, and automating repeatable processes
Support business partners with various Ad Hoc analytics
Qualification and Experience :
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 4 years experience in finance or accounting role(s)
A highly organized and motivated individual who takes the initiative
Ability to work as part of a team and in changing demands
Skills required:
Intermediate MS Excel skills
Basic SAP and Essbase knowledge required and Qlikview knowledge preferred
Strong decision making and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail ¡V particularly with numbers
Possess appropriate change management skills to advance necessary changes and processes
Ability to report progress on a regular basis ¡V and escalate issues early
