Job Title : Contract Administrator
Job Type : Contract ( 3 Months + )
Location : Kalamazoo, MI


RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform centralized processing for all new (incoming) contract workers. This work includes but is not limited to performing data entry and various types of electronic record keeping; corresponding with company's contracting managers and contractor supplier companies; providing initial orientation training to new contractors; assigning appropriate additional training curricula to contractors according to their respective job role;
• Perform centralized processing for off-boarding of contractors when respective contracts/assignments end;
• Produce monthly and on-request contractor status reports for company's HR and contractor sponsors;
• Serve as primary point-of-contact for contractor supplier companies. contractor sponsors regarding for information related to on-boarding, off-boarding and other related administration activities and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience working in an administrative/clerical support capacity, preferably in a corporate setting that includes high transaction-rate activities;
• Strong skills in using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Adobe Acrobat;
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy rate with respect to assigned tasks, especially with respect to data entry and email communications;
• Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities;
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time working with computer systems;
• Superior written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to learn new system and process knowledge quickly and is comfortable with asking questions to clarify ambiguities as necessary;
• Very personable and comfortable working with a diverse set of contractor and company employee roles (building construction and maintenance trades, office/clerical roles, professional and scientific roles, site services, etc.).

Note : POSITION DOES NOT START UNTIL FEB 1st.

Environment: Office-Casual, Computer-intensive

Length of Contract: 3 to 6 months, with possibility of extension for up to 2 years (Note: this is a staffing request to back-fill a temporary leave of absence with approximately one month of full-time on-the-job paid training prior to the leave).
