Job Title : Financial Systems Analyst
Job type : Contract ( 6 Months + )
Location : Carlsbad, CA
This is an entry level position on a financial systems team that develops and supports Hyperion HFM, Hyperion Planning and IBM's Cognos. Duties will include user support for a worldwide user community, cost center maintenance and user security.
Finally the Financial Systems Analyst will participate in month end activities including system variance analysis and report generation.

Ability to learn quickly
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with capability to utilize these to build strong business relationships with employees at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to set priorities, manage a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Intermediate skill with MS Excel.
Any Hyperion Planning, IBM Cognos or HFM experience a plus, but not required
SQL skills a plus
Strong computer skills (e.g., MS Office, Outlook)
Education
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, information systems or computer science
