Job Title: Customer Services Specialist -
Location: South San Francisco, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description:
· To provide technical direction and support to custom services, products and projects. Facilitate the information flow between operations, marketing, customer service, technical service, customers and sales on custom services, products and projects. Maintain positive interaction with Sales and the customer to facilitate order placement, determine product feasibility, address concerns and assist in determination of corrective action, as well as customer follow-up.
· This position largely interacts with equivalent levels of personnel in the manufacturing area. Strong oral and written communication skills are required to identify problems and implement solutions in a team environment.
· Effectiveness in this role requires a working knowledge of Invitrogen.s manufacturing process and Standard Operating Procedures and the ability to see opportunities for improved effectiveness.
· The job encounters work situations of diverse scope and moderate complexity with identifiable factors.
· Incumbent exercises judgment within generally defined procedures and practices to determine action. The incumbent normally receives no instructions on routine work and general instruction on new assignments.

· Bachelor.s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other related discipline, or the equivalent knowledge and experience.
